Welcome! I'm Wanda, a children's author. I'm also a devoted dog mom and the author behind Benny the Brave: A Story of Love, Loss, and Learning.

My writing journey began with my real-life rescue dog, Benny. His bravery and cheerful spirit inspired a story to help kids understand feelings like sadness, being different, bravery, healing, and unconditional love.

I'm eager to keep writing and sharing new stories. They will explore culture, family, nature, and the joy of connecting with others.

My next book, Carina and Sabi: A Journey to the Heart of Cidra, centers on a magical friendship and a message about the importance of caring for our planet. It illustrates the traditions of Puerto Rico.

I live in sunny California with my three dogs: Benny, Luna, and Mylo. They bring love, laughter, and endless ideas into my home.
